The 2025 Lake County (IN) Fair Heritage Quilters’ Award theme is SEWING – no machine embroidery.
At the Lake County (IN) Fair, the Heritage Quilt Guild of Crown Point sponsors two ribbon awards each year on a specific theme, quilt pattern, or design. One award is given for a full size or larger quilt and a second award is given for a twin size or smaller quilt or wall-hanging.
The chosen theme, pattern, or design must appear in 50% of the quilt item. In addition to the ribbons awarded, each winner receives a one year membership to the Heritage Quilt Guild of Crown Point. A monetary award of $50.00 for the larger quilt and $25.00 for the smaller quilt/item is also presented.
