Heritage Quilt Guild has
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AND EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
We have beginners to award winners;
the young of age to the young at heart;
traditional and modern makers to fabric artists.
The Guild was founded in 1976 after a group of quilters joined together to make a fundraising raffle quilt for the renovation of the Lake County Court House in Crown Point, Indiana. They tried to keep the heritage alive in the historic court house while trying to increase the awareness of and support of the art of quilters.
The Guild is committed to its 125 members and other organizations in and around their community. The Guild strives to achieve their yearly goals while encouraging the aspirations of our individual quilt makers, artists, and craft people.
The Guild holds meetings at the First United Methodist Church of Crown Point, 352 S. Main Street. We have members from various communities of Northwest Indiana and Northeast Illinois. Our members are uniquely talented, creative, and giving.
The Guild welcomes all new members and guests at any meeting. When there is a paid speaker, guests are required to pay a $10 fee. Please see our Meeting Agenda page for scheduled events.
