Heritage Quilters is a non-profit organization formed in 1976 to promote the knowledge of the art of quiltmaking and to preserve the history and the lore of fabric art. Our group is diverse with varying levels of quilting skill and expertise. Each member is creative and uniquely talented. Our Guild welcomes new members and guests. Anyone interested in quilting or the history of quilting is welcome.

We meet every other Tuesday at 10:00 AM (gathering at 9:30) beginning the first Tuesday in September through June at the United Methodist Church, 352 South Main Street, Crown Point, IN. Our meetings consist of a Business Agenda, Committee Reports, Block of the Month Drawing, Attendance Drawing, Show & Tell and lots of quilting news and fellowship. Our various programs consist of, Mystery Quilt, UFO sessions, Kids Quilt workshops, Ugly Fabric Challenge, Quilting Method/Technique Workshops, Programs from Outside Speakers and local Quilt Shops, Christmas Challenge Project and a Christmas Party. In June before we start our summer break we have another terrific party.

Our newsletter is published on a bi-monthly basis. We have informal gatherings during the summer months (end of June through the end of August) devoted to quilting, fellowship, promoting our charity work, preparing for the next year and on odd years preparing for our Quilt Show. Our dues are $20.00 annually.
